Frequently asked questions
How do I sign a PDF without printing it?
Upload the PDF, make your signature by drawing it, typing your name or uploading a photo of your handwriting, then place it on the page and drag it into position. Download the signed PDF. There is no printing, scanning or account needed.
Is this a legally valid signature?
It adds an image of your signature to the document, which is accepted for many everyday purposes such as forms, letters and agreements between people who trust each other. It is not a digital signature in the technical sense: it does not use a certificate to prove who signed or to detect later changes. Some documents and authorities require a certified digital signature or an Aadhaar eSign. Check what the recipient requires.
How do I use my handwritten signature?
Sign with a dark pen on plain white paper, photograph it in good light with no shadows, and choose Upload a photo. The tool removes the paper background and crops closely around the ink. Adjust the background slider if faint strokes disappear or paper marks remain.
Can I sign several pages?
Yes. Place the signature on one page, then use “Copy to every page”, or move to other pages and place it on each one. Each page keeps its own position, so you can fine-tune them.
Is my PDF or signature uploaded to a server?
No. Everything happens in your browser, so the document and your signature never leave your device. Password-protected PDFs cannot be opened.
