Frequently asked questions

How do I print several pages on one sheet?

Upload the PDF, choose 2, 4, 6 or 9 pages per sheet, and download the result. The new PDF has smaller pages arranged on each sheet, so you print it normally, and it uses a half, a quarter or less of the paper.

Which layout should I pick?

Four per sheet is a good balance for slides and notes, because the text stays readable. Six and nine per sheet suit handouts where you only need an overview. Two per sheet gives the largest pages, in landscape. Leave the direction on Automatic and the tool picks whichever fits your pages best.

Will the text stay sharp?

Yes. Pages are placed as scaled copies of the original content, not pictures, so text and drawings stay crisp at any size. Very small pages can still be hard to read on paper, so test one sheet first.

Does it handle rotated or mixed-size pages?

Yes. Each page is turned to its upright position and fitted into its own cell, keeping its shape, so pages of different sizes can share a sheet.

Is my PDF uploaded to a server?

No. The sheets are built in your browser, so the document never leaves your device. Password-protected PDFs cannot be opened.
