Trim from each side
Cropping changes what is visible on the page. The trimmed content is hidden rather than deleted, so do not rely on cropping to remove sensitive information.

Frequently asked questions
How do I crop a PDF?
Upload the PDF, enter how much to trim from the top, bottom, left and right, and check the shaded area in the preview. Click Crop and download to get a new PDF with the trimmed pages. By default all pages are cropped; type a page list such as 1-3, 5 to crop only some.
Does cropping delete the content I cut off?
No. Cropping changes the visible area of the page, but the content outside it is still stored in the file. If you need to remove something sensitive from a document, cropping is not a safe way to do it.
Can I crop different pages by different amounts?
Run the tool more than once. Crop pages 1-3 with one set of values, download the result, then upload it again and crop the other pages with different values.
Does it work on rotated or scanned pages?
Yes. The margins you set are measured on the page as you see it, so they stay on the correct sides even when a page is stored rotated, as many scanned PDFs are.
Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. The cropping is done in your browser, so the document never leaves your device. Password-protected PDFs cannot be opened.
