Frequently asked questions

How do I combine two photos into one?

Add the images, choose Side by side or Top to bottom, and download the result. Use the arrows to change their order. The tool makes the images the same height or width so they line up neatly.

How do I put the front and back of an ID card on one page?

Add both photos and choose Top to bottom, so they stack with the same width. Download as JPG, or use Images to PDF in the PDF Toolkit if the form wants a PDF. Keep copies of ID documents private, and share them only where truly required.

Can I make a collage?

Choose Grid and set the number of columns. Each picture is scaled to the same width and centred in its row. Add space between pictures and an outer border, and choose a background colour.

Will joining reduce the quality?

The images are placed at the size you choose, which by default matches your smallest image, so nothing is stretched. Choose Match the largest if you prefer to keep the biggest picture at full size, at the cost of enlarging the others.

Is there a limit on the final size?

The finished picture can be up to 12,000 pixels on its longest side. If your layout is larger, it is scaled down to fit. Everything happens in your browser, so your images are never uploaded.
