How to hide
Drag on the picture to draw a box. The effect that is selected when you finish the box is the one it gets.

The hidden areas are changed in the saved file itself, so the original details cannot be recovered from it. Camera and location data stored in the original photo are not copied either.
Your image is processed entirely in your browser and is never uploaded anywhere.
Frequently asked questions
How do I blur a face or a number plate in a photo?
Upload the picture, choose Blur or Pixelate, and drag a box over the face, number plate, ID number or address. Add as many boxes as you need, then download. The hidden areas are changed in the file itself.
Is blurring safe for sensitive details like account or ID numbers?
A heavy blur or pixelation makes small text unreadable, but for really sensitive information the safest choice is a solid black box, which cannot be reversed. Use a high strength if you choose blur or pixelate, and zoom in on the result to check that nothing is legible.
Does it work on screenshots?
Yes. Upload the screenshot and cover names, email addresses, phone numbers or account details before you post it publicly.
Can the hidden part be recovered afterwards?
No. The saved image is created from the pixels after the effect was applied, so the original detail is not stored in it. Keep the original file separate if you need it.
Is my image uploaded to a server?
No. The effects are applied in your browser, so your image never leaves your device.
