Frequently asked questions
How do I crop a photo to a square or a fixed ratio?
Upload the image and choose a shape such as 1:1, 4:3 or 16:9. A selection of that shape appears; drag it to the part you want to keep, drag a corner to make it bigger or smaller, then click Crop and download.
How do I straighten a crooked photo?
Use the Straighten slider to turn the picture a few degrees either way. The canvas grows to hold the rotated picture, so crop away any empty corners afterwards.
Can I make a round profile picture?
Yes. Tick Round (circle) crop, position the circle and download. The result is a PNG whose corners are transparent, so it sits cleanly on any background.
Is my image uploaded to a server?
No. Cropping and rotating happen in your browser, so the photo never leaves your device.
