What does "First Order Sheet" mean, and how is it different from Cognizance?
It's the very first order recorded the day a new case is registered — acknowledging receipt of the case and fixing a next date — while the Cognizance tab (the other tab on this tool) handles the later stage of taking cognizance of a chargesheet.
What case types are supported?
Section 138 NI Act, Section 173(4)/379 BNSS police reports, Sections 12/31 of the DV Act, and complaint cases under Section 210(1)(a) BNSS — each with its own verified order wording.
How does the wording change if the applicant isn't present?
Select the matching option in "Who is present today?" (Party Present, Applicant absent but Advocate present, or No one present) and the generated order text automatically switches to the correctly worded paragraph for that scenario.
