Does the Compare mode convert between units?
No — all deals you compare must be entered in the same unit (for example, all in grams or all in millilitres). Comparing "500 g" against "1 kg" as literal numbers would give a misleading result, so this tool deliberately leaves unit conversion to you.
What's the difference between a percentage and a flat discount?
A percentage discount reduces the price by a proportion (e.g. 20% off), while a flat discount subtracts a fixed amount regardless of the original price.
What happens if the discount is larger than the price?
The final price is shown as 0 rather than a negative number, with a note explaining that the discount exceeded the price.
